About the pottery
Montgomery Pottery relocated from Brooklyn to it’s current home at the Webatuck Craft Village in 2013. The building had been a pottery since the mid 1970s, but had been abandoned and was in need of a pretty thourough rebuilding. The pottery is now producing cone 10 reduction stoneware, raue, pit-fired and horsehair ceramics, both functional and decorative. There are also weekly classes and workshops available.
